Meet Nalu Babe Kaysi McDaniel
Say hello to the radiant Kaysi McDaniel, a 22-year-old beach lover and aspiring model originally from Durham, North Carolina, now living her best life in the Outer Banks!
Kaysi spends most of her time by the water, and when it comes to her swimwear, Nalu Bay has earned her heart. “What I love about Nalu Bay Swimwear is how reliable it is,” she shares. “I spend all my free time in the ocean, so I need swimwear I can trust. Plus, I get so many compliments whenever I’m repping the brand. I’m all about being part of this amazing community of women who lift each other up.”
When she’s not soaking up the sun on the beach, you’ll find Kaysi staying active and doing what she loves. “I’m either at the gym or out in the ocean,” she says. “Surfing, tanning, and just enjoying the vibes with my friends are some of my favorite things to do.” Whether it’s working on her fitness or catching waves, Kaysi’s always moving with purpose and positivity.
As a child, Kaysi dreamed of being an actress, but her ambitions have evolved. “I’ve always been motivated and optimistic, and I’m super excited about where life is taking me,” she says. “Modeling has always been something I fantasized about, and now I’m here making it a reality. It’s all about trusting the process and enjoying the journey!”
Kaysi credits her mom as her biggest inspiration. “She’s my hero and my biggest cheerleader,” she says. “She’s shown me the importance of working hard and staying positive, no matter what life throws your way. Watching her push through tough times has motivated me to keep chasing my dreams, and I’m so grateful for her support.”
One of Kaysi’s biggest accomplishments? Moving out at 19 and supporting herself. “It wasn’t easy, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come,” she says. “I’ve learned so much from my challenges, and it’s really made me appreciate all of my growth and achievements.” It’s clear that Kaysi is no stranger to hard work and resilience!
Looking to the future, Kaysi has some exciting goals for her modeling career. “I want to take it as far as I can go,” she says, full of excitement. “Modeling is something I’ve always dreamed about, and now I’m finally taking action. I also see myself as an entrepreneur one day, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey leads!”
Kaysi’s fun facts? She’s an only child who’s been to almost every state in the U.S., and she absolutely loves to travel! “I’m all about new experiences,” she says. “And my love language? Gift-giving and quality time—it’s all about meaningful connections for me.”
Her advice for younger followers? “Comparison is the thief of joy,” she says. “It’s easy to get caught up in wishing for more, but you have to embrace what you have and be grateful for it. The more you focus on what you already have, the more joy you’ll find. Don’t forget to be proud of who you are!”
