Meet Nalu Babe Brie Abate

Brie Abate is a 19-year-old New York native, and she's living life to the fullest.

Whether she's tumbling in competitive cheerleading or hitting the gym, Brie is all about staying active, staying positive, and, of course, staying stylish. As a proud member of the Nalu Bay Swimwear community, Brie absolutely loves how the brand’s swimwear makes her feel: confident, comfortable, and empowered. “The vibe of the brand is just amazing—it's all about empowerment and feeling good in your own skin,” she says. “Being a Nalu Babe makes me feel like I’m part of this awesome community of strong, beautiful women who lift each other up!"

When Brie isn't flipping and tumbling, she's diving into her passion for health and wellness. Currently a full-time student majoring in pediatric physical therapy, Brie is also making time for her love of baking and cherishing moments with family and friends. Her dream as a child was to be a “princess chef,” but now her sights are set on helping children lead healthy lives while balancing her dreams of a modeling career.

Describing herself as “outgoing, bubbly, and caring,” Brie credits her family and friends for being her greatest inspiration. They’ve supported her every step of the way, pushing her to chase her dreams and never give up. “I’ve watched many of them overcome extreme challenges and come out stronger than ever,” Brie says. “It makes me want to keep going for everything I love.”

Winning UCA nationals in 2023 was one of Brie’s proudest achievements, but she’s not stopping there. With big aspirations for her modeling career, Brie hopes to work with even more amazing brands while staying true to her goal of becoming a pediatric physical therapist. “I want to balance both careers and, maybe one day, even start my own business,” she says.

As for fun facts, Brie loves adventure and pushing herself to be the best at whatever she does, even if it means being a little bit of a perfectionist. "I'm always up for a new adventure," she says. “Whether it’s spontaneous trips with friends or taking on new challenges, I’m all in. And I won’t stop until I’ve mastered it.”

Brie’s advice to younger followers? “Don’t be afraid to go after what you love, even if it seems hard at times,” she says. “It’s easy to compare yourself to others, but your journey is yours, and you’ll get there at your own pace. Always make time for the people who lift you up—they’re your real support system. And don’t forget to enjoy the moment! Life’s too short not to have fun with it.”
